Mission

Our mission is to assist students and teachers from ETSAB in all issues related to make mock-ups and/or prototypes coming from teaching and research from the School. We make tools and materials available for users to attain the common objective of excellence in research and training of Architecture professionals.

We provide advice and technical response in relation to material selection and the techniques and use of the most suitable tools for the work to do in each case.

The specialised techniques we offer are:

  • Cutting and laser engraving on different flat materials of reduced thickness of 2D geometries provided by users.
  • Printing by means of filament fusion of 3D models provided by users.
  • Milling with number control of different materials to obtain models and/or pieces designed both in 2D and in 3D.
  • Sale of materials and tools to make mock-ups.
